Celebrate Recovery

Hope Starts Here.

You Don't Have To Walk Alone

We believe healing begins when we stop pretending and start bringing our brokenness to Jesus.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, biblically based ministry for anyone seeking freedom from life's hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Whether you're facing addiction, anxiety, grief, unhealthy relationships, past trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, you'll find people who understand because they're walking the journey too.

This isn't a place for perfect people.

It's a place for people pursuing healing.

Healing Happens Together

Celebrate Recovery is for anyone who longs to experience freedom and healing. Whether you're carrying the weight of addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, broken relationships, past trauma, anger, codependency, or simply feeling stuck in patterns you can't seem to break, you'll find a community that understands.

You don't have to have all the answers, and you don't have to have your life together. You simply have to be willing to take the next step. No matter your story or where you've been, you'll be welcomed by people who are pursuing the same thing: lasting hope, real healing, and the freedom that only Jesus can bring.

Real Healing. Real Hope.

Celebrate Recovery isn't about pretending everything is okay.

It's about discovering that God meets us right where we are.

Every week you'll hear honest stories of people finding freedom, rebuilding relationships, breaking addictions, and experiencing God's grace in powerful ways. Because Jesus doesn't just forgive our past, He transforms our future.

At JCC, Celebrate Recovery is one of the ways we live out our vision of helping people discover hope, healing, and home in Christ.

Your Seat Is Waiting.

Whether you choose to simply listen or you're ready to share your story, we'll meet you where you are. No registration. No pressure. No judgment. Just people discovering the freedom that Jesus offers. Join in this Tuesday.

Brian Spears was born in Michigan, raised in Eastern Kentucky, and has lived in the Jessamine/Fayette County area since 1998. Brian and his wife Stacy were married on July 27, 2013. Stacy was born in Owensboro, KY, and has also lived in the Jessamine/Fayette County area since 1998.

They have a blended family of 5 children and 9 grandchildren. Brian and Stacy enjoy spending time with family, square dancing, fishing, seeing new places, and serving in various ministries when they are not working.

Brian was raised in a Christian home until the age of 18, but was never baptized during that time. After nearly 24 years of believing in but not following Jesus, he accepted the invitation to start following Jesus on March 31, 2013, and was baptized at Crossroads Christian Church in Lexington.

Brian and Stacy were still attending Crossroads Christian Church when they moved to Nicholasville in 2015. After Stacy woke up feeling bad one Sunday morning, Brian decided to find a local church to attend so that he could be home sooner to care for her rather than driving all the way from Lexington. Jessamine Christian Church was the closest church to their home, so he went. Brian enjoyed the warm welcome, Bible preaching, and wonderful experience so much that they both returned the following Sunday. Not long after that, they officially became members of Jessamine Christian Church on Nov. 6, 2016.

Since that time, Brian has served as a Deacon and with the Student Ministry, Jail Ministry, and Worship Ministry. Stacy has also served with the Jail Ministry. They both feel very blessed to be able to serve together in the Celebrate Recovery Ministry at Jessamine Christian Church, which launched on Feb. 6th 2018.
